Renowned compressor brand Kendall insists on using manufacturing methods from well-known compressor manufacturers such as Bitzer and Copeland .
High-precision CNC machining: Key internal components of the ice bucket are all machined using high-precision CNC machine tools to ensure that the fit clearance reaches the micron level, thereby extending the service life of the equipment and reducing operating noise.
Fully automated welding technology: For pressure vessels and core refrigeration pipelines, we adopt a track-type fully automated welding process to ensure smooth welds, uniform strength, and eliminate the risk of leakage.
Vertical Integration & Customization
Kendall possesses strong flexible manufacturing capabilities, enabling it to customize solutions to meet specific customer needs:
Non-standard design and production: Whether it is a cold storage with special dimensions (such as a 7.5m wide double-opening cold storage) or ice blocks of specific specifications (such as standard industrial ice cubes of 22*22*22mm ), we can quickly transform drawings into physical products.
Containerized Integrated Manufacturing: We specialize in integrating complex industrial ice-making systems, automated conveying systems, and ice storage facilities into standard shipping containers. All installation and commissioning are completed in the factory, and customers only need to connect water and electricity to begin production on-site.
Pre-Shipment Factory Testing
Every Kendall device must undergo "real-world" testing before leaving the factory:
Full load test: The equipment must run continuously for no less than 24 hours , and all pressure, temperature and current parameters must be recorded.
Vibration and seismic assessment: For mobile or marine equipment, conduct specialized reinforcement process inspections to ensure that the equipment can withstand long-distance sea travel and harsh working environments.
Environmental Protection and Sustainable Production
Low-carbon coating: It adopts an environmentally friendly coating with high corrosion resistance to reduce the impact on the environment while ensuring industrial corrosion resistance.
Wastewater treatment system: Cooling water and refrigerant residues generated during the production process are strictly recycled and treated in accordance with international environmental emission standards.

QUALITY CONTROL
Industrial-grade excellence: Quality control standards of Kendall industrial ice-making system
At Kendall, we are well aware that industrial ice makers typically operate in extremely harsh environments - whether it's cooling concrete under the scorching sun, being exposed to salt spray from fishing vessels at sea, or enduring intense operations in chemical plants. To ensure the stable ice production of the equipment in a 24/7/365 mode, we have established a rigorous industrial-grade quality inspection system.
Step 1
"Zero-defect" entry requirement for core components
The lifespan of industrial equipment depends on the heart. Kendall only collaborates with the world's top suppliers:
Compressor system
Only original semi-hermetic screw compressors from Bitzer or Hanbell are strictly selected. Before each compressor enters the workshop, it needs to undergo secondary calibration based on the intake pressure and the return oil system.
Heat exchange technology
The evaporator is made of special alloys or 304/316L stainless steel and undergoes heat treatment to eliminate welding stresses, ensuring that it will never undergo physical deformation under frequent temperature changes.
Step 2
Engineering Rigor
|
Process Module |
Quality Standards |
Our Approach |
|
Pressure Vessel Inspection |
Air Tightness & Pressure Resistance |
The evaporator undergoes a nitrogen pressure test at 2.5 MPa for at least 48 hours to ensure zero refrigerant leakage. |
|
Welding Process |
Industrial-Grade Flaw Detection |
ultrasonic testing is performed by senior welders holding special equipment operation certificates to eliminate potential weld defects. |
|
Electrical Safety |
Redundancy Design |
It uses Schneider or Siemens electrical components and comes standard with multiple automatic protection systems for phase loss , overload, high and low voltage. |
Step 3
Simulation Testing
Before each Kendall industrial ice maker is delivered, it must undergo its own "pressure test"
Frequency stability
Simulate voltage fluctuation conditions to ensure that the equipment can maintain normal logical control even under a 10% voltage fluctuation.
Maximum ice production efficiency
Conduct full-load operation tests under standard conditions (water temperature 16℃, ambient temperature 32℃) to ensure that the measured ice production is not less than 98% of the rated nominal value
PLC automated logic
Run continuously for 24 hours, simulating unexpected situations such as water cut-off, power outage, and full water tank, to verify the response speed and reset accuracy of the PLC automatic control system.
Step 4
Industry-Specific QC
We understand that different industries have different requirements for the quality of ice. Therefore, our quality control process includes specialized inspections
Concrete Cooling
01
For the ice chips, the focus is on measuring the thickness of the ice chips (standard 1.5 - 2.2mm) and their dryness to prevent the chips from adhering together.
Long-Distance Fishing
02
For the ice-breaking machine, enhance the quality of the anti-corrosion coating of the unit to ensure that the supports and pipelines have the ability to resist salt spray.
WHY WAS KENDALL ABLE TO WIN GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL CUSTOMERS?
What we sell is not just equipment, but also long-term production guarantees
We establish a full life cycle archive for each Kendall industrial ice-making machine. From the record of the first weld seam to the final debugging parameters before the last factory shipment, all are digitally stored. Even after ten years of operation, we can still precisely allocate original spare parts based on the equipment number.
